Rain Forest Biome: A whole new view!

Today I was working in the rain forest biome.  The day started out mulching oil palms and then we moved on to dividing ginger plants and replanting them.  After lunch for a change we decided to work on some plant propagation.  The biome is getting a new walkway put in and new plants must be propagated to fill the space once the walkway is complete.  We collected some coffee seeds and sowed them.  We also took cuttings from other plants to fill the space.  While we were propagating plants they were taking garden visitors up in the hot air balloon.  This balloon is primarily used by the biome gardeners to prune their large trees and palms which have become overgrown.  I was fortunate enough to get a ride up on the balloon.  It was amazing to see the biome from that point of view.  Being a little scared of heights I was freaking out at first but as soon as I got up there and looked around amazement took over.  I was able to spin around and see the entire biome.  I was waving at guests while trying to take in all this opportunity had to offer.  There is no better way to experience the biome than from this balloon ride.
